bad business practice

In December 2014, I signed a twenty four months contract with Vodacom. On March 2016 the debit order didn't go through. I then decided to go to the Vodacom shop in centurion mall to make payment. The sales executive checked my account then told me that my account is not owing anything. I then left the store. Once again in April 2016 my account was not debited. On 16 May 2016 my number stopped working and I thought that there was something wrong with my phone I then went to the Vodacom store to enquire. I was told that my account is in arrears that is why my number is closed and I need to make a payment to have the number working again. I immediately paid the amount in full. Then I was told that the number will be restored within 24 hours. I waited for the 24 hours, with no success. I then contacted Vodacom customer care. I was told that my number is deleted from the network. I asked why was my number deleted. The lady said that because my account was in arrears even though the amount was paid in full. It was never communicated to me that my number is going to be deleted from the network.
