Bad bad bad service
Why doesn’t Vodacom know how to activate my OneNumber on my Apple Watch series 7.
I had to look up how to do it and tell them. On their website it says in order for your e sim to work for your Apple Watch make sure VOLTE is active and twincall is switched off.
I’ve called the call centre 5 times now spoke to different people and they don’t know how to do this.
On Vodacom’s site it says either go in or call to have your twincall switched off. My goodness I’m so annoyed

No it doesn’t work, what you have to do is de link my esim I told him this and he said he can’t see it on my account. I can see it it’s there on my vodacom app I see it clearly why cant you guys?
Please remove the esim the number for the esim is 082615**** then please activate one number on my account. Then my Apple Watch series 7 cellular will work.

25 Feb 2022, 15:25Finally today 25th February 2022, my cellular has been activated. Thanks to Lucky the only agent out of 20 who I dealt with that knows how to activate one number on an apple device
Here’s what he did
The previous agents thought I had a Samsung cell and gave me a qr code and pin to add on my cell data plan for me to activate on my apple cell. This was wrong. They also had multi ring active.
Lucky had the multi ring deactivated and removed the one number as it was done for a Samsung. He then activated my one number. He told me to switch Wi-Fi off on cell and a
Watch then go to watch app and activate mobile data. It didn’t work so he told me to switch off and on my cell and watch and he called me on another cell. I did this then went and it allowed me to activate the data on my watch app on my cell phone. Then it said waiting. I waited 5 minutes and turned my cell and watch off and on again then went to check and it loaded and wow it worked.
Thanks so much Lucky, I hope you get a huge increase and hopefully the other vodacom agents get the proper training soon.
