BAD BAD BAD BAD SERVICE FROM VODACOM
I recently qualified for a upgrade with one of my Cellphone Contracts. I decided to go for a 2 for 1 Deal : 2 X Haulier P30 lites for a single Subscription - with a additional R65 contract thrown in for Free! Initially everything went smoothly as I had to do a sim swap on my phone number as the sim card was not a nano sim as required by the new phone. I was told the second sim card would only kick in from the 1st of August, as per the contract. This was on the 23rd of July. Initially the sim-swap was successful and everything went according to plan. Come the 1st of August and Disaster. The sim-card which initially was succesfully swapped and ported to my existing phone number, suddenly registered on the network as new phone number . My number was 071 *** **** suddenly became 060 *** ****.
And this is where the total lack of customer service starts. I phoned Vodacom on Friday the second of August to report the issue and ask for assistance, to which I was told this has never happened before. and that some one would phone me back with a solution, Needless to say this never happened and on Tuesday the 6th of August I phone again, and was met with a very rude Lady who just was not interested in my problem, Did not give me a chance to explain what mu issue was, and told me that there was no one to assist me with this as all the supervisors were in a meeting ,Really???? She then proceeded to to tell me that I was rude and that I would just have to wait till some one comes phones me and put me on hold when I insisted speaking to a supervisor or senior member. Needless to say after being on hold for while I hung up. In My desperation to get my issue sorted I drove 45 km to Port Elizabeth the Bridge Shopping Centre where a very nice lady tried to assist, but even her systems at the Vodacom Shop was blocked to assist me to resolve the issue this, even after phoning Vodacom Business Partner Assistance could help me on ***. After my 3rd unsuccessful attempt at resolving this issue, I then phoned Customer Service again that afternoon. a Very nice Gentleman called Sibusiso ( hope I got his name right), tried to assist and very patiently waited for me to explain my predicament and promised that some one would phone me . Needless to SAY VODACOM could not give a "***** Adam" about me as customer - are quite happy to take the the more than R 2000 a month I pay for my contracts - even though my 071 number when I call it from another phone tells me this number does not exist??? with more than 400 minutes Voice and almost a GB of Data that I cannot use even though I have paid for It this is now Friday the 9th of August and I am still not able to use my 071 number???? Stay Way from Vodacom is how I feel at the moment! My biggest Issue is total lack of Communication or Feedback from Vodacom regarding my line issue!
