Bad and. Don't care about long term customers

So I have had my vodacom Sim with vodacom for years with the cell number *** I was using it for banking and all personal things and what'sapp not too long ago vodacom decided to give my number to someone else I am trying to get the number back the guy at vodacom store in town said I must phone customer service i lost the simcard but was still using the number for what'sapp for work purposes I don't think that's right I need my cell number back their is certain numbers attached on that number with personal things and work things
