I once app**** for a contract at istore under vodacom. Last week I received a call from ladies who wanted to offer me a contract for data and they had all my details including banking details. According to popi act they shouldn't keep my details if I don't have any account or contract with them. I rejected their offer and today at 11:03 a guy from Vodacom threatened to use my details and get me blacklisted just because I'm telling him I don't want anything and they must remove my details.
