Avoid Vodashop Jubilee Mall

I received appalling service from Vodashop Jubilee mall.I was assisted by Vero, firstly she **** about the charges applicable for an upgrade until i pointed out a fee she had not disclosed to me on the quotation. When i took the phones back as i was not happy with the deal and the amount debited on my account she decided to take off her mask and scream at me.She then refused to let me speak with the owner of the store whom she had on the line. With her manager Thato watching.I don' t know where these people get their training from.Vero is a disgrace to vodacom. She needs to learn to keep her emotions in check and not behave like she's in a tavern and in such an unprofessional manner. I will never ever walk into that store ever again. I wouldn't advice anyone to go there either.

Can you please explain to me how the return policy works at vodacom shops. I did an upgrade on the 19th of April. Returned the phones to the store on the 22nd of April as i was not happy with the deal and the amount debited from my account. Instead of reversing the upgrade they sent the phones to vodacare for an OBF assessment even though there was nothing wrong with the phones. They stated that they will only cancel the upgrade IF the OBF is accepted so that they can claim for new phones at the warehouse.I received a report now that there's nothing wrong with one of the phones, and with that Thato stated that they will not reverse my upgrade. What nonsense is that? They want there to be a problem with the phones otherwise they will not reverse the upgrade. What happened to the 7 days cooling off period? That is gross disregard for my rights as a consumer

Dear Customer,

Thank you for the time and effort taken to voice your dissatisfaction to our office. It is with the cooperation and feedback from valued clients such as yourself that we are able to identify any areas of improvement within our organisation.

Please note that we escalated your query to our store leadership team for further assistance. Based on the feedback provided, our store address the service issue with the consultant invlolved.

Kindly note that the 7-day cooling off period is the 7-day OBF period. Should a faulty device be returned within this period, then it will be sent for an OBF assessment. Please note that if a customer signs for a specific contract and leaves with the device, then the customer will be liable for those contracts. The store cannot reverse the upgrade if the customer already used the devices and signed for the contracts.

We apologize for the inconvenience and the service experienced.

Regards,

Vodacom Consumer Website Team
