Avoid VODACOM Canal Walk

I went to the store to arrange a Sim Swop on Saturday evening on 23 June 2018. I was told to take a number, after 5 minutes I counted 11 staff members sitting and standing around of which 2 were assisting clients. I asked if need to wait for my number to be called when there are so many staff- I was directed to Monique Davids to assist me. I was made to feel so bad for being a client due to her attitude. After paying for a new SIM card she told me it would be active from 0600 on 24 June. At 1000 on 24 June I called Vodacom from my land line to ask why it my number was still not activated and was told to check at 1900. I called at 1920 and was told I need to go back to Canal Walk because they did not submit the activation. I asked Vodacom to call the store on the number on their webiste since they are open to 2100. The supervisor at Vodacom tried to call numerous times whilst I held on the phone to be told no- one is answering. I then drove back to Canal Walk and went to speak to Monique who then admitted that the person responsible for processing the activation did not do their job. She muttered a short apology and said it would be done by the 24 June in the morning. When I left the store the staff member at the door had a shocking attitude when I told him that no- one is answering their phones and said no one will after 1700. I will never go back to this store for any assistance. I encourage anyone who needs any assistance to rather go to Vodacom Waterfront where the service was exceptional.
