Austin Makhubu

I am in specific writing this with reference to an outstanding employee at Vodacom Waterfront: Austin Makhubu

I have been a long-term client of Vodacom (since I came to Cape Town in 2015) and I was sad to hear that Austin no longer works for Vodacom. I think it is a loss to the Vodacom organization and it is honestly rare to find such highly skilled/professional/knowledgeable employees in South Africa.

I thought I would share some of my experience with Austin, because I feel he deserves it.

I became a client of Vodacom I think in 2016 at the old cellucity shop near the Parnters barber in the V&A Waterfront. I was very lucky that Austin took charge of my first contract. Ever since, I became a loyal customer of Vodacom (4 additional contracts since, 3 for myself and 1 for my wife, all with Austin surely). I was first a Cellucity customer and when Austin moved to Vodacom shop I became a customer of the Vodacom shop. The interaction with him was always smooth, he acted professionally, took really care of every issue and always had an answer to problems. This is rare in SA. He goes to the last mile to solve customer issues, keeps an amazing attitude throughout and always solves issues. I can comfortably say it is among the highest quality customer relationship I have had. I had referred several friends to Vodacom and specifically to Austin. He was an asset to the Vodacom organization.
