Atrocious, Disgraceful service from Vodacom South Africa
I am at the end of my tether with the atrocious, disgraceful service I have received from Vodacom Red Line Service. Around 20.11.2017 I received a call from a Vodacom Sales Agent indicating that records indicate that the package I am on is insufficient and that I should migrate to a higher package. I accepted and was told that I had until the 30.11.17 to revert back to my original package without migration charges if I changed my mind. I then did my own calculations on returning home, found that I was not exceeding the package I was on and contacted customer care to revert back to my original package. I was given the assurance that it would be done and that I would receive an sms confirming this. The long and short of this is that IT WAS NEVER DONE, even though I made numerous calls in Dec. 2017, Jan 2018 and FEB 2018. I had to become very rude to the point of throwing down the gauntlet, before I was reverted back to my original package 3 months later on 01.03.18. I was then also saddled with an exorbitant bill as a result of the difference between my original package bill and the higher package x 3 months. On the 07.03.2018 my service was suspended, even though I had instituted a dispute on the higher package costs and migration costs I was charged. I was asked to pay an amount of R5000 into the account to get reconnected. I duly comp**** and was given the assurance that I would be reconnected between 2 to 5 hours. It is now the 08.03.2018, I have called and spoken to 4 customer service agents, who have all given me the same assurances that my service would be reinstated between 2 to 5 hours, but still there is no action. I am calling on MANAGEMENT OF VODACOM to go through the recorded conversations of my numerous interactions with Red Line Service consultants as well as collection and reconnection department to verify what I am stating. I am disgusted, appalled and extremely unhappy at the atrocious, disgraceful service I am receiving from your ***********, inept, customer service agents. Should this matter not be resolved before the close of business today being 09.03.2018, I have a very big public surprise that will be seen by many, to highlight the sloppy, slippery manner you treat your clients. ABSOLUTELY ****ED OFF
