***** at Vodacom
Took my 1st cell phone contract with Vodacom.Experience was bad that when the contract expired I ported my number to MTN. This year I receive an sms that my email at Vodacom has been changed, called their customer care, I was told there was nothing.I see that they have done an enquiry under my name,I call again, still they deny it.I receive a call from a courier company to confirm my address for delivery in Cape Town, I live in Johannesburg by the way I call again,I speak to the gentleman by the name of Khumo, the only thing he had to say was that It was a mistake and he will tell back office to cancel the order. After explaining to him that this whole thing is ***** anyways he did nothing I had to call Vodacom several times before I could get an urgent who atleast gave me the ***** email address and the documents needed to lodge the case.I lodged the case with ***** as advised. The only thing I received was the acknowledgement email with ref EC-1M76-1NQW90 ,that I will get a response in 7-14 days,I waited.Vodacom debited my account twice, second amount was higher that the 1st one.I have been calling everyday since then, the urgents are telling me there is nothing they can do.I have sent follow up emails and no response.I even emailed Vodacom complaints.I feel like some people are being protected at my cost.If it was external *****,where did they get my banking details because I never changed them,I have never lost an ID.Where did they get my fingerprints because everytime you do a credit application, your prints must be taken.I reported the ***** before It could happen but Vodacom did nothing about it.There is no direct line to *****,you have to go through customer care line but they also do not assist because they don't have access their ***** department. I am so angry because these things damage our credit profiles and they take the money we don't have in this economy.I know I am not the only one,It's unfortunate that most of the victims are not on social media, but the are lot of ***** victims whose credit profiles were damaged by ***** in Vodacom. Many people are paying for contracts they never took,Some people have no access to emails and they can't even check what's happening .Someone needs to take a responsibility and address the ***** that is happening. Taking a contract with Vodacom was the biggest mistake of my life.
