At this point, my experience with Vodacom has been a complete disaster, marked by poor service, billing confusion, and zero accountability.

This is my second time leaving a review for Vodacom and unfortunately, for the same issue, now on my second phone on the Invoice no: HR-1RMHWV.

I am currently on a contract with Vodacom that was meant to end at the end of December 2025. However, I am now being charged a handset instalment for January 2026, which makes absolutely no sense.

I fully understand that if a contract is not cancelled, it moves to a month-to-month basis. What I do not understand and what no one at Vodacom has been able to clearly explain is why I am being charged twice for the handset instalment. I have repeatedly requested clarity on the outstanding balance on my account, yet I keep receiving conflicting explanations.

I spoke to Khanyisile from customer care, who stated that the January 2026 bill is actually for December 2025. This explanation still does not answer the core question: why am I being billed twice for the handset instalment? This same question has been asked repeatedly since 8AM this morning, and every time I am transferred, no one can give a straight answer.

To make matters worse, the customer care service is unacceptable. I was hung up on by Zanele from the Cancellation Department, who was supposed to come back to me with answers. Instead, I was placed on hold for an excessive amount of time and then disconnected after repeatedly asking the same unresolved question.

I honestly cannot believe that I am going through this again. After my previous experience, I expected this level of poor service to have been addressed. Vodacom’s billing transparency and customer care remain deeply disappointing.

This is not just frustrating it is unacceptable.

At this point, my experience with Vodacom has been a complete disaster, marked by poor service, billing confusion, and zero accountability.
