Asked for headset upgrade. They only renewed my sim

Due to the fact that Vodacom's website is buggy and unifinished, I had to complete a headset upgrade over the phone. After about an hour, I was assured that my upgrade was completed to my satisfaction with my cellphone arriving within a few days (even though the website says it only takes a day). After the given period has passed, I found out that without my permission, they removed the phone from the order, changing the contract to SIM card only.

This is not what I asked for at all. I've spoken to several operators who insisted on passing my call around. Now I'm left without a phone, and a contract to pay off that I can't use. Furthermore I fear that escalating this matter further will only result in their word being used against mine in this ridiculous claim that I ordered a SIM card only.

I've been a loyal customer since 2011. and have never missed a payment. This, however, is ********** and ********* practice from the supposed best cellular service provider in the country.
