Are Shake every day rewards depedant on your contract value

I was on a higher level Cellular contract with Vodacom, my contract came to an end and I decided I don't need to upgrade as my phone is in an excellent condition still, so in fact downgraded to a lower package. As soon as my downgrade happened, all the Shake ever Day rewards decreased in value, no Million rand Jackpot entries now R100 000. Is this standard across the board or are the rewards dependent on your contract value?
