Approved contract phone denial

On Sunday 17 July I signed up for a contract for a P9 Lite. The contract could not be finsihedon the day as I was told the "30min process" of apprving my credit was going to have to waite till tommorow.

I received an SMS the next morning stating the approval of my contract as well as an Email from the lady who helped me on Sunday stating that the application was approved.

So after sitting in the store for 70min before getting to a consultant today (18 July), I told the person I’m here to pick up the phone. I sat there for a further 30min while he tried to check my approval on the system. After finally logging in he said that the systems shows that my contract is still pending. The consultant simply stood up and while walking away with my phone said “Well we’ll have to do this tomorrow.” After raising my frustration with him while he was walking off he rep**** with “I can’t give you the phone, otherwise I’m going to be paying for this phone”. And that was it.

I did not get a thank you for waiting, any courtesy or even a simple “Sorry about that”. The service was absolutely atrocious and I am strongly considering cancelling the contract if this is how new customers are treated.
