Appauled by Vodacom Service

I have contacted Vodacom several times today and even visited a Vodacom shop trying to get them to fix my problem. Spoke to 4 different consultants at Vodacom who all promised that they were resolving my issue which is that my phone has just stopped receiving sms messages. No one knows what's going on, no one has a solution other than telling me that they are logging it with their technical support. I call back after a while and am told no one has logged anything against my number and get an assurance that this time they are logging the query, then again no joy! I get asked the same questions over and over again. What the hell is going on? I want to be able to receive my sms messages, fix this now!!
