Appalling Service

After my cell phone was ****** - *** I went to Vodacom 4U at The Glen Shopping Centre to do a "sim swop" on Sunday the 28th of February 2021. I was explained that it will take 3 hours for the new sim to be active. The next day the 1st of March 2021 the sim was still not active. I called the Vodacom call center who confirmed that they could see that the sim swop was done and that the sim card itself is possibly faulty. I return to the Vodacom 4U shop on Monday the 1st of March, who was unable to assist again, they advised that there was an instruction for a "supervisor' to approve the sim swop which will only happen the next day. On Tuesday the 2nd of March I returned once again and the sim was still not active. They called the call center who advised that we should wait 30 minutes and it will be active, that was 17h26 - I waited in store until 18h00 and still the sim was not active. I was promised a call back on Wednesday the 03rd of March 2021 with feedback and they advised that they will personally deliver the sim to my place of work.

I waited the whole morning and called them at 12h52 - I was told that yes the sim card is active now. When I question why I was not called and why the promise of delivery has not been done, I was advised that I will be called back, it is now 13h21 and still I'm waiting.

I have been a loyal client of Vodacom and this is the first time I have received such appalling service. I'm reconsidering NOT continuing using this service and all because of a SIMPLE SIM SWOP.
