Appalling Service

My Vodacom account was in arrears with R1600 and my service was suspended. On 18/03/2016 I paid the account and was notified that the amount due was R3600, I paid the full amount. I was told that the phone will be reconnected. On 21/03/2016 I went to query as my phone was never reconnected. I signed a new contract on the same day at Vodacom Postmasburg. I also paid for new sim cards. Phones was never reconnected and I was notified that I had to pay an amount of R1400 for reconnection. When I queried this amount, I was notified that it was because of the new contract. I signed a new contract for R800.00 p/m. My phone was never reconnected, but I still have to pay for services that I do not receive, The consultant at the call centre was extremely rude and I was told by her that I have to pay irrespective of whether I receive services or not. She als said that if I want to cancel the contract, I have to pay an amount of R21 000. Can Vodacom please tell me why I have to pay them if I do not receive any services from them???

Thank you for acknowledging my complaint, but its been more than a week and still Vodacom has not contacted me. They did, however mailed me a warning notice letter of permanent disconnection of services. Services was never connected since I signed the new contract, yet I am hold liable for the full amount. What does it take for Vodacom to call me back or should I rather go to the media. I just want to understand why the are holding me responsible for services never received and a phone that I cannot use. Please acknowledge and respond. Acc I***-0
