Appalling customer service!!!!!

I just experienced the rudest and unprofessional call from Vodacom call centre. Mr Lennon you do not talk over cutomers continuesly repeating a caluse in teh terms and conditions and then tell them "I am just telling you this is how it is and have a good day." You do not dismiss customer when your company made a mistake on the online upgrade. It is your companies fault not the customers.

If you advertise the Samsung S7 on a Smart Large package for R 539.00 and I upgrade online and recieve an e-mail that confirms this deal, then I expect Vodacom to honor the deal or offer me an alternative solution that is equal to this deal that you advertised and I accepted. We had a binding contract of sale at that stage.

You do not just call and dismiss the customer with some lame terms and conditions that Vodacom can change the deals as they please.

It is understood that this clause is so that Vodacom can change deals when they run into problems but then offer your clients a solution not just dismiss them and hide behind clauses. What about the consumer protection act ? This clause does not override the law.

If this is how Vodacom treat loyal customers then it might be time to take my money to the competition.
