Appaling and Misleading Service/Promotions from Vodacom...Yet again!

I give up on Vodacom!I am very unhappy with Vodacom once more. Vodacom stole mother's data. Last week alone she had reported 3 times and she was reimbursed because the data was less than 50mb. Yesterday was the cherry on top they took her 1G data which they loaded on the 1st of the month. My mother already had 200mb data that she won. She got a shock of her life when she was told that the data has run out. My mother uses data mostly on WhatsApp. She only got a message that she has less than 20 Mb data and immediately another message that says her data has run out. She thought is was the 200MB that had run out. When she enquired how come she cannot send WhatsApp messages anymore, they told her that her data has run out, and the messages was for the 1G data. Then she asked them what happened to the 200MB they couldn't explain it. She requested the breakdown of the her data usage and they told her they will escalate the matter. Another shock was when she suddenly received a notification that she is left with less than 500MB, then 200MB and eventually the message that the data has run out. And she saved all the screen shots of the times she received these notifications; an hour after the data had supposedly depleted . The question is why did those notification come after the fact? Is this how Vodacom makes their money,by *****ing from us? Claiming that we have won a data which is due to expire on the same night, so they can lure you to use up your data instead? If she could come out of this contract, she would with immediate effect because she's was dealing with the same issue even last week, it's just that it was little data. The worst of all, this happens on the eve of her birthday! And these days we don't even bother going to social media anymore because we get ignored. There was a time when I used Mega Shakes (in fact it was early last month) and won in total 2 gigs of YouTube data which never worked. I used my MegaShakes (120 in total) , and was only reimbursed 200MB for the inconvenience, you said. I complained on Twitter and Facebook and was ignored, you told me that you don't reimburse vouchers. It's fine, I just made up my mind that when my contract expires in January next year, I'm not renewing it. Oh, and we're still waiting for the feedback that we were promised over 4 months ago now, regarding the bad service that she received from Zanele at Finrite when she was claiming for her ****** phone last year. Zanele told her that even if she (my mother) cancels her insurance 'it doesn't matter, do as you see fit ma'am. Were her words. She also refused to escalate the matter to her manager when my mother requested to speak to one.

So is this kind of service becoming a norm with Vodacom now? Because honestly the bad is starting to outweigh the good that we get from Vodacom.
