App Access Incredibly Silly

Hi cannot access the Vodacom app from my device because "the device you are using is not on the Vodacom network. This app only works for devices connected to the Vodacom mobile network" ... what changed between the last time I used the same device to access the Vodacom app and Saturday the 1st of October? The Vodacom App is not very useful and is defintely not user-friendly and says a lot of about Vodacom.

Finally received a voicemail message to visit a walk in centre. Did my own investigation, apparently the new app upgrade needs to be connected to WiFi before it will recognise my cell on the Vodacom network. Yes, you read that right, the Vodacom SIM card, issued by vodacom is not 'seen' by the network carrier ... ROLFL .... vodacom you ****ing me ....
