Another frustrated and disappointed Vodacom client

Vodacom is double-charging me for the month of December. I logged several (at least 12) “call-backs” since end of December, for them to contact me but each time I received a message that there were errors logging my “call-backs” and that I should try again.

After I lodged a Hello Peter Complaint a week before last, a certain Faiek Mohamed contacted me the following Monday (9 January), and at first tried to persuade me that Vodacom isn’t double charging me. We discussed my account, I explained my issues and at the end of the call he said that they actually picked up the mistake that morning and that he will see to the correction of it. (Why then tell me that Vodacom isn’t double charging?) Anyway, he confirmed that he will give me feedback the next day, the Tuesday. I cannot phone or email him, he will email me.

On Wednesday I received an email from Faiek stating that my account has now been corrected. I checked my account and it still showed the double charged amount, so I asked him when the credit will reflect, no reply. Thursday morning I checked again, no change, and I followed up with him again, again no reply.

Friday morning I received my bill from Vodacom, still showing the double charged amount. Faiek, to my surprise rep**** Friday afternoon after three emails were sent to him, with no answers as to which amount was double-charged and when it will reflect. He only sent proof that a credit was loaded. I checked my account this morning, still no change!!

Vodacom admit to double-charging me, confirmed that they will load a credit but they’re not correcting it. They are robbing their customers and giving no service! I’m beyond frustrated…
