Another example of Vodacom's incompetence

I am utterly at my wits end. I am desperately trying to pay off my debt, but since Vodacom handed the debt over for collection neither Vodacom or the debt collectors have contacted me. This Is having a significant impact on my credit score.

I have even taken to phoning different debt collectors to determine whether the debt is with them, but to no avail.

How am I supposed to clear this debt if Vodacom have made it absolutely impossible for me to do so. It also seems that it is impossible to call Vodacom Legal Department...when I have tried to phone I have been given a list of options including the opportunity to now purchase life insurance. When I phone customer services I am required to give a vodacom number... but as the number no longer exists, the call is simply cut off.

So what am I to do?

What i do know however is that:

I demand that I be informed who I should contact so that I can pay of this debt in full. I furthermore demand that the negative feedback that has accrued on my credit report (over the months that I spent trying to find a way to pay my debt because no-one including Vodacom could be bothered to notify who they had handed the debt over to) be removed from my credit report.

Please treat this as urgent!
