Annoying SMSes - Vodacom

Finally laws have been put in place for unwanted marketing but what about companies such as Vodacom who send daily smses. I have tried to stop these constant messages and was told it could not be stopped. Why do I have to be forced to receive these marketing smses where other companies allow marketing communications to be optional. It is really irritating receiving so many messages. I receive messages EVERY DAY - even on Sunday. Please can we stop these annoying unwanted marketing messages.

Good day,

As per Vodacom's reply on 05/02/25, it's all a lie. I am STILL receiving messages every day despite a consultant calling and assuring me all marketing is cancelled. I am going to write a formal complaint to the Consumer Commission for unwanted marketing as it seems it is of no use contacting Vodacom.
