Angry about THEFT of my Airtime / Frustration in not getting itemised billing statement

Money is deducted off my pre-paid airtime for random 'services' on a daily basis without my consent or my knowledge. Vodacom does nothing to alert or protect me and my money from such abuses.

Sadly/unfortunately my younger brother registered for games services on my cell phone without my permission. I only became aware of this when my airtime was decreasing at a rate of R14/day over a period of time. On the 18th of January 2017 I called Vodacom to cancel all unwarranted 'services' and they did just that. Recently I realised that my airtime was rapidly decreasing again although I never used any airtime. It was confirmed by the tele-assistant that I was registered for 'service' that I did not request. Furthermore, she stated that once these "service providers" obtain ones contact details they arbitrarily deduct fees from a Vodacom customer without his or her knowledge or consent.

I put forward the notion to the assistant regarding what steps Vodacom would take to stop these abuses i.e. what measures does Vodacom have in place to alert me that money is being deducted from my prepaid airtime and what measures Vodacom puts in place that will allow me to ratify each transaction on a DAILY basis.

I feel that as a customer I have a right to know when money is coming off my prepaid account and that I have the right to ratify every single deduction. Conceptually, my prepaid account is effectively the same as a bank account and similarly I should be made alert to each transaction/dedcution and need to be able to easily review each transaction that occurs. Vodacom is solely responsible for such an implementation of security measures and it is well within their ability to execute this.

Lastly, I have been finding it incredibly difficult to retrieve my itemised billing statement (which costs R10). I have spent over two hours trying to retrieve this statement, however, I received messages such as there is technical issues with the app/website. When I manage to log in and select intemised billing I get logged out automatically thereby creating an "infinite" loop in which I can't retrieve my itemised bill . When I asked the tele-assistant to email me my itemised bill - she stated that she could not. As such I'm not sure how I'll be able to review my itemised bill and keep Vodacom accountable for my account.

The purpose of this message is to appeal to the executive committee of Vodacom to put in reasonable measures to protect customers from such abuses and put in measures to safeguard a customers prepaid balance (as a bank would). Also to make it easier to retrieve an itemised bill. Also I have lost several hundred Rand because of this and I would like to get this money back.
