********* and Scaly Practices

When did Vodacom become so shady? My SIM only contract was almost finished and I was planning on going prepaid, not leaving Vodacom, just going prepaid so that I have control over my airtime as it sometimes expires. Of course January I was called to upgrade and I repeatedly told the guy I want to go prepaid or downgrade my contract as I don't use this much airtime. He specifically said to me twice that it won't be a whole year contract again, it's only until the end of my current one. My current one ended March, it is now May. I checked if I can cancel and guess what, I am locked in this contract which is much more expensive for a whole year. So basically, he **** blatantly to get this deal. That is extremely ********* behaviour and I am very disappointed in Vodacom. As soon as this contract is over I want to move to a different network. I've been a client for almost 20 years, but if this is how they treat loyal clients I can't see myself sticking to an ************* company who lies like this. Guess what, he **** about the amount too! So many lies to get a deal and leaving behind a very unhappy client.
