An Enraged Client

On Monday 2024/12/02 I took my cell phone to Vodacom at Tambotie for repairs. I recently bought two contract phones at Vodacom, Samsung A35 on 2024/08/20 and now on 2024/12/02 one of the phones just went completely off and crashed. A Consultant at Tambotie told me that I should either take my phone to Fourways Mall, at their Repair Centre as it is much faster than booking it in with them because the process will be slower to reach Fourways Mall because they're unable to courier only a single phone. The Consultant tested the cell phone, and he suspected that the problem might be motherboard. So, he contacted the branch at Fourways Mall to check if they have parts for a Samsing Galaxy A35 and they said they have stock instore. The following day I drove to Fourways Mall and I was told the phone will be repaired within 3- 7 business days, The Consultant then booked my phone in, and I told him that I need a phone urgently so as I am running a business. All of the necessary apps that are needed to run my business are on that phone. It is such a huge inconvenience for me, but even though I was visibly upset over this whole ordeal, the Consultant was not bothered at all. On 2024/12/04 I received an SMS and it reads; "Just an update on your repair, Unfortunately, one or more of the required parts for your repairs is currently on backorder and will take a little longer to arrive, we apologise for the delay and will keep you updated on the status" Both Consultants at each of the branches, have failed to provide me with all of the necessary information I needed regarding a loan phone. In the Terms and Conditions, it is stated that ''A loan device may be supp**** for the duration of the repair subject to Loan Device T&Cs.'' I was only informed of this yesterday after I called the store manager of the branch in Fourways. I was supposed to receive a loan device from the repair centre at Fourways Mall, but the consultant there did not provide me with all of the information. This whole ordeal has a tremendous impact on my business I am outraged by the services that has been provided.
