Amount owed paid awaiting settlement letter.

I never had a problem with Vodacom before I requested a pre-termination contract of my mobile account in May 2021, which they did send and I settled, 3-4months later I get an summons letter from Vodacom telling me I have been handed over to legal because I have fails to pay my monthly fees, confused as I was I called them and every consult I got told me my account was settled no one can see what I’m owing because my number is now prepaid, I then wrote a review here and fortunately someone Did contact me and explained why this had happened( apparently when you ask for a settlement quote they don’t include the month you are in, so that was the money I was owing( not mentioned in my settlement quote) and I specifically asked for the entire balance I owed for the whole line. He then gave me a account number and email to send my proof of payment, then a week later I get a call from Barnard, Raaff& associates from a Cheri, who was rude to me when I was explaining everything to her Kept insisting I paid that amount of money which was 3X the amount the consultant said I owed. I then further told Cheri that I am unable to pay that money because I only know the Original installment I owe which I can pay. She then said if I don’t pay it, it will affect my credit score and will stay there. Even today though I paid, No one from Vodacom has said anything and in the Lawyers as well they said they haven’t recieved anything from Vodacom. now I’m stuck sitting not knowing what else to do.
