I have recently upgraded at the Vodacom 4U North Cape Mall Kimberley and upon the upgrade device i wanted they"consultant" advised that there is no stock availability . The Consultant actually made some effort to find out if they can order stock and if there is a eta of the hand device i request when upgraded . Vodacom "warehouse" advised they don't have any eta nor a idea if they will get stock and if they do get stock when it will be . I as the Customer accepted the challenge they are experiencing and advised the consultant that i will then choose a different device that they most probability will have in stock at the warehouse and place a order on that device . I have signed the upgrade contract on the specific device and color with extra add on "watch" that goes with the device under the impression that it will not be a problem souring the newly device on the market from warehouse or other shops to keep the customer happy . The following day the consultant calls me to advised there is also no stock availability on the color device and watch i have requested on the signed contract with them . Now my question to this "matter" is , why??? then advertised the items on the booklet if Vodacom shop or Vodacom Warehouse does not have any stock nor eta on delivery . My common sense tells me there is definitely a communication error or process problem in your systems because you don't sell a products to customers you don't have stock or struggle to get hold off . Now the Customer "me" needs to follow up on eta and when there will be stock availability . Guys i worked in Corporate world for many years and this is not customer services - Plan of action to satisfy a customers is to look or work on solution solving this stock issues and not just leaving it as "it is what it is " attitude . This will also be last upgrade with Vodacom Network itself .
