Allowing subscriptions to deduct airtime

I recently signed up for a new Vodacom contract and I received my first monthly airtime. I noticed this was going down faster than it should so I called Vodacom and I was informed that a subscription service was deducting R10 everytime I recharged, although I don't see how that's possible as I haven't recharged since applying for the contract. ANYWAY, I told them to block it and shortly after received an SMS notifying me that I have been unsubscribed from "GameAnd" service. Point is, what is this thing and why is Vodacom allowing it to debit my airtime. Airtime should be run like a bank account and debits should need to be signed off by the consumer. I don't even have Facebook and I am SO careful about anything on the internet where I would have to provide my number. When I told the Vodacom consultant this, she said you don't have to supply your number, that insurance companies and the like can randomly select you and if you don't respond to their marketing with "opt out" then they can just start debiting you. This is CRAZY. I want my money back but I can't find any "GameAnd" company to contact. I suspect they are somehow affiliated with Vodacom and I am really annoyed.
