All Promises, No Results.

Where do I begin? I guess from the beginning would be best...

Autopage liquidated, and Vodacom took over my contract - essentially cutting out the middle-man. No problems there, except for the fact that I wasn't notified of this. With this buy-over, all the soft- and hard-limits that had been put onto my account dissapeared, and for 2 months, I was charged over R1500 in extra data charges! That is ridiculous!

Nevertheless, after logging a data dispute, Vodacom did credit the money to my account in August (after no less than 3 customer care calls to Thembisa, Nomnigele and Asive on 9 Aug, 11 Aug & 12 Aug respectively). However, I've since been battling to get the credit REFUNDED to my bank account. Do you think Vodacom will do that? Hell no...Below are the calls I've lodged with Vodacom representatives, who all told me that they would call back (which they didn't) and resolve it (which they didn't either):

16 Aug (13h05) - Ziki

Discussion: Too much debited from my account, credit was given - but a process was logged to refund to my bank account. Processed a migration of my package to a Uchoose smart s top up plan effective 1 Sept.

2 Sept (14h40) - Aviwe

Discussion: Wade checks up on credit note, as it's not reflecting on my account. Aviwe states the credit note is reflecting as in process, but not sure when it will be paid. Promises to phone back on Thursday at 10h00.

16 Sept (11h40) - Sibo

Discussion: Wade calls, but system is down. Promises to check and call when the system is running correctly.

So I guess the system still isn't running correctly after one whole week? Vodacom, would you like to pay me interest on the money YOU OWE ME - after TWO MONTHS OF STALLING!? You're very quick to demand payment, but beaurocratically slow to pay out...what a hypocritical company. Would you like to promise me more, and severly under-deliver on your promise when you inevitabily contact me? Or perhaps you won't contact me, and I'll have the pleasure to continue spreading anti-Vodacom advice:

"Steer clear of Vodacom, the only business who apparently doesn't need customer satisfaction in their business mandate."
