All faith lost in Vodacom and staff!

To whom it may concern

As I'm typing this email, it pains me to have discovered such awful service and false promise from Vodacom, a brand I was proud to be part of for over 10 years now.

On 23/12/2016, I called 111 to find out how to go about cancelling my contract as my 24month period was almost at an end. At the time, Oscar from Midrand cancellations team took my call and offered me the Hauwei P9Lite for R249pm with R150 airtime for 24months. He confirmed that this phone was a dual sim (which I really needed)I knew I could get a better deal at Telkom Mobile but decided to stay with Vodacom as any loyal client would.
He called me that same afternoon apologizing and he misquoted me on the price, it was actually supposed to be R279pm. Naturally I said no and suggested he speak to the higher powers to have this resolved. Oscar never bothered coming back to me with feedback even though I called on numerous occasions. After getting pushed around, his manager, Kabelo Molusi offered to assist me with the same contract at a discounted price, to compensate for the inconvenience. Only after taking delivery of the phone, did I learn the phone was NOT a dual sim. There was nothing Vodacom could do about this. Kabelo apologized and offered to waive 4 months worth of subscription. Its March 13 today and still this hasn't happened. Instead, I was billed R299 instead of R199. I was told this will be refunded, which WAS NOT. Kabelo Molusi then went on to say since he cannot waive the R199*4 months of subscription, he will programme the system to not bill me for the next 4 months. Obviously this was not done because today, to add to the list of empty promises, I view my bill on the Vodacom App and I see ''my bill so far R456''
How does one on an airtime top up contract, Flexi 200, get a bill other than the airtime one uses?
Up until today,

I am out of pocket R1200, as I needed to buy a TAB to use my other sim card in. The initially false advertising of the phone being dual sim is what made me take up the contract.

I have not being refunded with R199*4 months

I have not be refunded R99 (this was incorrectly billed on 20/02/2017)

I now have a bill stating R 456 on a top up contract!!!

I have been far to patient and understanding and I feel really cheated and ******.
Vodacom, either pay me what I'm owed or cancel this contract with immediate effect and with NO charges.

I await a non-generic response.
Melissa Doorsamy
********** 466
