Airtime ******
Francois V: 12 Jan 2022, 14:18 According to Vodacom, yes i made contact first. But that is fine. Background. On 27 Jan, R208 of airtime was **********ly transferred from my phone to an unknown number. I happened to speak to a human and raised my concern. I then bought via my bank, airtime for R100. This was taken the same day. On 29 Dec, Vodacom then reimburse me with R150. This was also transferred the same day. Now i had customer support to possibly understand the ***** problem. This was elevated to the forensic analysis department on 29 Dec. After the new year i made regular phone calls to Vodacom. On 7 Jan Vodacom loaded R300 airtime and for the first time i made two calls from my phone. To my dismay, all were transferred on 8 Jan without notification. I once again contacted Vodacom on Monday 10 Jan and they promised me a call back. That never happened. I followed up on 11 Jan and was once again promised to get a call. Needless to say, every time i was told the same story. They blamed me for the transfers. Now my line is blocked according to their customer care. This is as, a customer not ideal to, not be able to use my phone. I use this number for all of my transactions. At a bank app, i could not even respond to a sms. Today is 12 Jan and since 27 Dec could not make use of my phone except for getting Vodacom customer care to phone me. Next step, is that Vodacom will now try to disable transfers from my number. That is an idea, but then the person having access to my account, and to do it from my number will still roam free. All if this, and there is no resolution. Why am i now being punished for a flaw in Vodacom systems. Any reason why i still want to be a customer of Vodacom. A difficult task to get to the right department, as my number is for a few years on pre paid, and on the system i am on contract. Not easy to explain twice a day since 26 Jan. I need Vodacom to have this resolved. PLEASE
