Agents replying via sms is completely useless

On 18 Aug, I used my cell thethering (at the time I had over 300MB of data). When my internet was lagging I checked my account balance and all balances display R0.00. I then recharged my data with 500MB at approx 21:00. The next day (19 Aug) I checked my data balance and it displayed a balance of approx. 641MB. Can you tell me where the excess MB came from? I queried as to why the low balance message promp was sent 2 hour after I had recharged.

Your agent Brandon Davids sends a reply via sms and says that the messages for low balances are courtsey. Even if this is so, why was my airtime of R30-something deducted if I had excess MB? FYI, this form of feedback is unprofessional and completely useless as the agents just say what they want and customers just have to accept it. So now I have to resort to this to get the first half of my query answered. It is extremely irritating that only certain parts are attended to.

It has come to my attention that apparently I also subscribed to an AirG gold membership which cost me R2 every day for who knows how long. I have no idea what the hec AirG is and I certainly did not and would never subscribe to anything like that. I actually had to Google what AirG was. This subscription cost me R60 - R62 in airtime every month for the duration of my apparent subscription. I AM NOT HAPPY ABOUT THIS AT ALL!!! and I feel that money has been ****** from me. I do not appreciate Vodacom brushing this query off.

I know that service providers sell numbers to marketing companies, so what assurance do I have as a customer that my number wasn't part of a bulk sale to a company that added my number to their data base and activated the subscription? If you say that you do not sell customer numbers, please explain how is it that I continuously get spammed with marketing messages from companies that I am not interested in?

Further more, when initially phoning customer care on Saturday morning (20 Aug) the agent was completely uselss, unfriendly and lacked listening s****s and she didn't even log my query.

I have been a Vodacom customer for almost 20 years and never had a problem until the past 2 years and I am seriously considering changing my service provider once my contracts are up in January 2017.

Thank you for reimbursing me with a portion of the funds. I suppose it is better than nothing.
