Agent drops the call

I have had my vodacom contract for about 6 months. So I have had hundreds of sms's and phone calls that the number which vodacom has recycled to me has been handed over to the lawyers! Apparently my number is on the NCA and can only be changed by vodacom as per the lawyers. So today i receive a sms from VODACOM to say they have handed me over. So I call the call center to find out what is going on. The agent was not helpful and kept telling me it's a recycled number and I will receive these messages for up to 8 months so I told her what the lawyers advised and all she could tell me is it is a recycled number. Then she HANGS UP on me! I am DISGUSTED at this service. I had a uphill battle to get my contract and now this. Should it not be the customers choice for a recycled number! Now I am being harassed for other people's debt and have to prove who I am by getting affidavits from the police and send it to the lawyers!!!!!
