AGAIN VODACOM

After posting this on my previous hellopeter complaint(about a week ago) and not receiving ANY feedback, I’ve decided to repost my complaint from LAST WEEK to see if there will be any response this time !

Again?? It’s been almost two years since this whole fiasco, it’s been going well except for Vodacom debut orders sometimes going off on weird dates. About 5 weeks ago we checked when is my next upgrade and it said the 13th of June, so naturally on the 12th of June we went to Vodacom Menlyn , the Vodacom employee confirmed the upgrade but then told us I can upgrade but I will need to pay an additional R450 for the next 5 months to pay off the old device...why upgrade then ? We then attempted phoning Vodacom and that’s where things really started going to hell, firstly the operator we spoke to was very rude and impatient, we asked about the upgrade and she said that our upgrade is only in August , so there’s already a technical mistake because why would the shop attendant assist us? Then she said we had already upgraded, then when we tried to discuss the matter she started shouting at my partner who was on the phone with her(we have names and times of these phone calls if Vodacom wants to follow up!) , my partner then asked to speak to a manager and the lady , although aggressively, changed her tune, upon insisting on speaking to the manager she asked us to hold and then promptly put the phone down in his ear. We then tried calling again, he told the next consultant that he is quite upset but it is not her fault and that he would like to speak to a manager, the consultant then said that ALL the managers are in a meeting and we should try calling back in 30 min -60min...okay, we phoned again asking for a manger, we were put on hold for almost 10min. We phoned again and this time the phone was answered but no one was speaking, but we could hear the consultants speaking and laughing in the background. Finally a light in the darkness, a consultant answered and was very willing to help us, after discussing everything that had transpired, she suggested we find a deal match with opposing cellular services and then someone will also contact us with deal match options (we were told this would be done to apologize for the terrible service we had been receiving). Waited a day no phone call, we then phoned them , and luckily a manager answered, we repeated our story and the manager was shocked. Firstly she told us the deal match was standard procedure to ensure client satisfaction and NOT a means to apologize. She was very willing to help! We negotiated a deal match (this was on the Friday, so it’s been 2 days of no cooperation), everything was sounding as if it would work out upon speaking to the manager. She said she would confirm the deal and contact us on Tuesday (Monday was a public holiday). Tuesday came and Tuesday went, no phone call . Finally on Thursday another consultant phoned us, phoning on behalf of the manager. She had said the deal had gone through , FINALLY! But no, when confirming the deal it was not what we discussed at all. We then asked if we could speak to the manager that we talked to previously (I will not name names here as to protect those who did actually assist us), we were told she was not working on that day but would contact us the next day. The next day the manager phoned and said the deal could be done based on a very different amount agreed on. Saving us only R30. When asked why they said I had not been a Vodacom member long enough to be rewarded such a discount....I got my first phone at 13 years old and from day 1 was a member of Vodacom. For a time I was on a pay as you go Vodacom member . And then after completing my studies and earning a decent salary I opened an official Vodacom account in my name. My cellphone numbers and almost every phone I have ever owned is and was from Vodacom. I am turning 26 this year , so apparently 13 years of loyalty doesn’t count unless you, from an adolescent open your own contract ? I am very disappointed once again with Vodacom and am seriously considering going elsewhere. You have ****, disrespected and just out right ignored us and I am growing tired of the unprofessional standards you have set for your business.
