After service at Vodacom Lakeside mall pathetic

To whom it may concern,

Good morning I’m a very unsatisfied/frustrated customer of Vodacom while writing this letter to you this morning.

I have been a Vodacom customer for almost my whole life now but am really starting to lose all patience and respect for this cellphone provider and at the moment I’m seriously considering changing to a new service provider because I don’t have the time and patience to deal with *********** people who doesn’t want to do their job or doesn’t provide a better service delivery and as a result of that me as a loyal paying customer must suffer the consciousness to keep on struggling with phones that doesn’t work properly. All our problems started when; First my wife upgraded her contract last year and got a LG phone because she was happy with her previous one she had but after a time her phone kept on freezing up and nothing could be done with the phone and she had to wait till the battery was depleted when she could restart the phone and luckily it worked after that but only for a short while until it did it again we took the phone to Lakeside Vodacom and long story short after 5 visits to the shop we finally got a new replaced mother board from them and each time data was lost and we must pay to get it put back again and after numerous times while upgrading we asked them to correct her wrong details on their systems it still isn’t done. Secondly I went to upgrade my phone in March 2018 whereby I found out that they never canceled the Vodacom insurance for my Samsung S7 after I clearly told them I don’t want their insurance I will put it on my own insurance so I have been paying that insurance for 2 years. I finally got a phone call from a woman from Vodacom head office who promises me I will be refunded for this mistake but until this time nothing happened and I still have not even got a credit on my cellphone bill for this *****. Because taking money from someone without their consent is ******* /*****. Thirdly I upgraded my contract in March 2018 to a Cat S60 phone, after about the 2nd or 3rd week I noticed that my phone keeps on switching off by itself, I thought okay maybe while in my pants pocket it pushes against something which causes it to switch off so I placed it in my shirt pocket but it kept on happening. I told my friend about this problem which also had the exact same Cat S60 and he said he also experienced the same problem with his phone and he solved that by doing a software update so I also did every software update available but to no avail. This is a big headache for me because without my knowledge the phone just switches off by its self and when I finally notices and switched it on which also takes about 15 Minutes to start up and then I will see that a lot of people tried to get hold of me and my boss needs to be able to get hold off me at any given time. On the 16 June 2018 at 12:00 pm I went to Lakeside Vodacom shop to report this problem and wishing at least they will be able to assist me in getting this solved which was a big waste of my time and breath. The manager of the shop didn’t even had the common decency to come out of his office to speak to me in person and the only thing the consultant said was “sorry sir but we have to send it in for repairs” I told her but that won’t be possible for me to go without a phone I need all the number of clients and information on that phone and if it would have been for only a day or so but for 2 weeks! So needless to say I left very angry, frustrated and without any solution to my problem. I find this totally unacceptable I’m a long time loyal paying and all I’m asking is assist me when I have a problem and not just to give snotty replies and doesn’t give a damn about a person. Customer service should be one of your best departments to insure that customers remain with the company but it seems Vodacom just don’t give a rats ass after they have sold you the phone and you just keeps on paying and they get rich while their customers pays the ultimate price. Please I sincerely hope this letter / complaint will get some attention and not just get ignored. I can’t keep on struggling with this problem for a further 2 more years until I can upgrade again then I might just be obligated to cut my loses and end this contract and go to another cellphone provider.

Kind Regards Mr. M.C. Bruwer
