After Sales Service... Don't Count On It

I decided to indulge in the festivities of black Friday. When to your Bloemfontein Loch Logan store and was helped by a pleasant fella, Thabang Letsie. He assisted in closing the sale and providing me with galaxy s7 edge, although the whole process took awfully long do to system errors and so on, I was forgiving, Thabang told me once everything was done at 13:46 that the sim card would be activated in an hour or two. I took his forward and waited patiently till 16:48 when frustration hit. The sim card is still not activated. I proceeded to call Thabang but he was unavailable, which I could understand cause it was a fairly busy day, so I then requested that give him a message, t call me back as soon as possible. An hour and bit went by(17:36) and still I did not receive a call from the bloke. So I called yet again, and true to form he was busy. I then relayed my debacle to the young lady and requested that she ensure that Thabang called me back. Guess what.... He didn't. I would advise that the value of not over-promising and underdelivering ought to be taught to these blokes. But wait! It doesn't end there, I decide to take some initiative and call the call centre, biggest mistake of my life, Not only were they unhelpful, telling me that they can't activate a sim that has been activated in store, oh or my favourite, the after sales department leaves work at 19:00 because that's the only time phones ought to be activated and used. Between some hour of the morning and 7pm and between 9am and some hour in the afternoon.

Now I understand that getting the sale is a very important factor for you folk, but client retension, customer service, that's what matters to your clients. And today, I was flabbergasted.

PS don't get me started on the Samsung rewards issue. I may not be able to redeem the 32" Samsung TV promised to me by Thabang because their app isn't working, and when you call the call centre you either on hold forever or get provided with information that is as useful as waiting for rain in a drought, pointless and a waste of time.

So after paying R210 for a connection fee, which is a service that I obviously didn't receive, because I'm STILL NOT REGISTERED TO A NETWORK AT 20:59, oh and spent over R200 worth of airtime phoning you from a cell c number, as I don't have a Vodacom sim to get the benefit of a free call. Oh and now apparently not being able to redeem the Samsung TV promised to me by your consultant, please advise me what I ought to VODACOM. Because I am now stumped. unhappy, frustrated, disappointed and R410 short.
