After 30 years together, Vodacom walked away.

I just had enough! I have been trying for months now to downgrade my subscription at Vodacom because I don't need my current subscription anymore. People's needs change everyday, like life insurance, short term insurance, housing needs, vehicle needs etc etc. Every time I phone Vodacom to assist me with downgrading or migration of my subscription, I get a different story. It seems that my needs are not allowed to change because Vodacom are chasing profits. In the mean time my high amount invoices keep on coming. I experienced (a year ago) some financial difficulty and when I was unable to pay my account, Vodacom just went ahead and cut my services and thus, contact with my loved ones . My other creditors phoned me and together we found a solution. My other creditors are still by my side. I have been a loyal Vodacom customer for around 30 years and this is the kind of treatment I receive from Vodacom. Needless to say - I am utterly disappointed with the services of Vodacom and I will not recommend ANYONE to make use of ANY of their services. (this review will go public within the next 24 hrs).

After 30 years of walking together - Vodacom decided to walk away.

Vodacom tried to call (Sunday evening???), but before I could answer, they had already hung up. They literally let the phone ring twice or three times at the most. Yet, when I phone them, I have to spend at least 30 minutes on the phone while they TRY to help me, but they never succeed.
