advertise item that is out of stock

<p>the new catalogue has come out for the december deals. i currently have 3 upgrades to do witch are all gifts for my grand kids. i have spent all day contacting vodacom. literally spent 3 hours on the phone trying to upgrade my one contract to a deal that was offering either a samsung j1 or vodacom smart 7 phone with the optiion to add on a furby connect for R79. i tried online, i phoned the upgrade department to be told i am better off phoning each store until i find stock. i phoned 4 stores and was finally told to call the customer care store at gateway. they told me what everyone else told me. those 2 phones are out of stock and nobody has stock of the furby connect and there is currently no stock in the ware house. one person was so kind to tell me that they dont stock the unpopular items. i want this upgrade for my grandsons christmas present and currently there is NO STOCK. please tell me how you can advertise something and promote something that is unavailable. i am demanding this upgrade and i want that furby connect. i am a very good customer of vodacoms and this is not the first time i have had a problem for christmas. i want a good resolution to this problem.</p>
