<p>Except for the fact that Vodacom do not publish contact emails, this is not technically a complaint. Not yet at least.</p> <p> </p> <p>i have been asked to assist/advise on this matter by a Vodacom subscriber, Mr X, who has 4 contracts that are not in this name.</p> <p>CONTRACT 1; Expires 06/2017</p> <p>CONTRACT 2; Expires 08/2017</p> <p>CONTRACT 3; Expires 10/2017</p> <p>CONTRACT 4; Expires 03/2018</p> <p>Mr X is a foreign national, whose English is not too good. Hence my involvement.</p> <p><strong><u>Background</u></strong></p> <p>The contracts were taken out a few years ago by a Credit Worthy friend, Mr P, who is paid by Mr X every month.</p> <p>The problem now is that Mr X, wishes to get the contracts into his name as they expire and also change some of the contracts to topup/prepaid or even terminate others</p> <p>He cannot do so because Mr P is being totally unco-operative.</p> <p>in the past Mr P has renewed contracts, kept the upgraded handsets while Mr X continued to have to pay for the airtime.</p> <p> </p> <p><strong><u>Questions</u></strong>:</p> <p>How does Mr X get contracts out of Mr P's name and</p> <p>How does he stop Mr P from upgrading/renewing the contracts</p> <p> </p> <p>Please do not make excuses about POPI, All that is being requested is your advise/assistance to resolve this matter.</p> <p>In view of the fact that the first contract expires in June, your urgent response is appreciated.</p>
