Account messed up with no free upgrade

So,I could upgrade since 2nd of April. Wow, what a sour process. First I want to upgrade instore. Then the R1008 Red (150 min + 10GB data p/m + Huawei P Smart) contract with a P20 pro is not R1008. It works out to be +-R1248 p/m. I then tried the online upgrade which showed R1008 all the way. Then a second email from Vodacom arrived with a quote of +-R1248. I declined and phoned the upgrade line to speak to someone. The lady confirmed that there was something wrong. Because both quotes from instore and online show (100min and not the advertised 150min. And also not the R1008, but more. She worked out another quote, that was R939 p/m. I said okay. The 9th of April I awaited delivery, only to find out that RAM courriers have been highjacked. To my surprise I saw my account was raised with R2500. Now my acccount was at R3700. I WAS NOT INFORMED WHEN I DID THE UPGRADE THAT THIS WOULD HAPPEN. Go and listen to your recordings. Vodacom said they will deliver another set of phones which arrived on Monday. I declined and send it back. My account was raised another R2500. Now my account is at R6400 and no Vodacom assistant can help me. I get transferred to Accounts department then to upgrades/sales, then back to accounts. It seems I will have to block the amount at the bank and make a default payment. Wait for my contract to expire on 1 July and leave Vodacom which I've been using for more than 10 years. Some of the other providers have better contract structuring anyway. Thank you Vodacom for messing up my account.

And just like a great online sales guy I was promised a reference number with a sms. Only thing I got was this sms:

Good afternoon Mr Kruger

Please forward your qurries to the following numbers.

Cancellation dept- **********

Accounts dept- **********

Thank you.

This sms comes from the accounts department!!!

So, what is the sum of everything? 1) Actual price is different than was advertised. 2) Account was messed up and can't be corrected from any of the people I spoke to. 3) They don't want to cancel the upgrade deal after I spent numerous calls.

I find Vodacoms advertising misleading, their execution of my upgrade ********* and their after sales help useless.

I will see what further action I will have to take to resolve the matter.

Cheers Martin Kruger
