Account *****, months waiting for a resolution, ******* call centre service ! Vodacom just showed me a middle finger! If you know you know what good for you stay away! far away!

Vodacom has become ******* (lack of a better word), in August i got a message telling me about an order being processed that i did not know about. i called the customer care to alert them and i was told no such was happening on my account, rude lady i spoke to, after 45minutes she gave me a non-existent ref number.

Two months down the line while going through my bill I discovered that I was paying just under R578.99 more for an additional line with a gadget taken.

I alerted Vodacom again and was told that there will be a resolution within 14 days. After 16 days I received no call from Vodacom, I called them and I had to explain my **** over again and over again and that went on until mid-October 2016.

Fast forward - forensic confirms *****, my account was de*****ed with an application that did not have an ID document! And no confirmation of the contract amendments were made!

Keep in mind that at the end of the hundreds of calls I was making to Vodacom I was promised that Vodacom will call me back and give me an update, only 1% of the time I was called back.

Hurray ***** confirmed we may be close? No! I have to fight for the ***** confirmation to be updated on the system! You call forensic they tell you that their job is done, call customer care they say the matter is in progress, call accounts they say the matter is closed without credit. How? Now you have to contact all the departments to coordinate?

After a long fight, hurray the accounts department promises a refund the following week and say call after six days! Ok, today I call only to be told that my money has been credited into my Vodacom account and now I have to lodge another request for it to be deposited into my own personal account and the process with take place within 7 to 14 working days! Really? I just paid R578.99 more again on Tuesday! I mean what the ****? Now I have to spend another 2-3 months fighting for money to be paid back into my account? History tells me that 14 day doesn’t work at Vodacom.

What I found is that when they want your money they are available and accessible, when the is money that needs to be paid back to you or when you have problems you have to jump endless hoops and there are walls after walls with inaccessible supervisors that can only be reached on email (only when they finally get to your email)

After more than 10 years of being a customer at Vodacom they just showed me a middle finger.
