Account *****

On the 18th I received an OTP SMS from Vodacom then another SMS to confirm I logged into my online profile. I then logged into my online profile and changed my password and contacted the Vodacom help line. I was informed that I had upgraded two of my SIM's to an Iphone 7 package. I confirmed it was not me and asked that the orders be cancelled. On the 18th my online account was again logged into and another two orders placed. How does someone get the OTP in the first place to login to my account and secondly how do they get access to my account for the second time after a password change? Inside job?

On the 18th I asked:

1. That the new orders be cancelled. 2. That Vodacom disable my online account.

The afternoon of the 18th, I received two emails from the delivery company used by Vodacom saying the two orders would be delivered to some residential address other than mine even after requesting the orders be cancelled. I had to call the delivery company and ask them to return the orders to Vodacom. So I called Vodacom and asked to speak to a manager to escalate the issue and as of the 25th I'm still waiting for the call.

As for disabling my online profile I finally received an SMS on the 23rd, 5 days after request, saying that my ID number had been successfully deregistered. A bit concerning that it took 5 days to disable my online profile considering there had been 4 ********** transactions in two days.

Today I called for an update as it seems nobody at Vodacom is concerned about the issue. I was placed on hold for 30 minutes and still have no clear answer confirming that the orders have actually been cancelled....

So now I guess I will have to wait to see if someone from Vodacom cares to contact me and sort this out...
