Account debited with amount other then agreed amount.

To whom it may concern:

The experience with Vodacom at this point in time is the worst ever experienced by any service provider.

I spoke to a supervisor named Mampela in your call centre for accounts on 5 Feb about the amount debited returned. I have requested a new debit to be processed on the 12th which she has agreed to. The amount agreed to was for R208.00 and the returned debit charge to be recovered on the next normal debit date of the 1st of March. Vodacom thereby also sent me an sms on 12 Feb (yesterday) indicating that the amount R208.00 is payable. This in mind they then debited the full amount of R308.00 and I had not enough funds in the account for this amount. This obviously mean that Vodacom does what they want to and not what they agree to.Thus the debit returned yet again and also then now got charged a rejection fee from my bank.

I then called to query this today 13 Feb and spoke to a supervisor Desiree who then tells me that this debit was not possible and that Vodacom will debit the full outstanding. While having a conversation with this Supervisor she drops the call as she has no further answers for me.

If it was not possible why was it agreed to in the first instance. Then also now the situation is getting worse as it seems that no one really knows how the systems work and they are making up rules as they go along. I would like this matter to be looked into and also for the call recordings to be made available to me so that this issue can be resolved once and for all by the CPA.

Your urgent response is required as to what your turn around time is for your complaints dept.

Reviewer Update
I must admit that it is no surprise that Vodacom asked a few questions and thereafter just goes quiet without indicating when they will resolve the issue. To date I have not heard anything with regards to my question as what their turnaround time is even after I have sent a mail asking this on 15 Feb. Then also I have asked for the call recordings to made available and as expected noting to date. I get the feeling either they are trying to make this blow over or they do not want to make their mistakes known to the public by giving the customer the call recordings. Pathetic service yet again.
