Abysmal service for a long standing business user

I have had contracts with Vodacom for over 10 years and am seriously considering why I am paying so much money to them when I have been left out to dry. On the 5th of September I went to Overcell Gansbaai and added yet another contract to my business profile for my partner's sick father in his 80's. We collected the phone and were informed everything was up and running. We then flew to Johannesburg the following day and on Sunday set up the phone for him. When completing the set-up I received a message that the sim card was not registered on the network. As it was a Sunday I had to wait until Monday the 9th to sort out the issue. I flew back from Johannesburg on Sunday and was in the shop first thing in the morning on Monday to fix the issue. I was informed that they were going to fix this ASAP. I called the shop at 12:12 and was informed that this was escalated to the technical division and they have not heard anything back. I then called the owner of the shop at 15:28 and was informed that they were still looking into the matter. I then went back into the shop after not hearing anything at 17:15 and spend 1 hour at the shop trying to sort out the matter. The girl in the shop called the number for activations and also technical line to try to resolve the issue and after being kept on hold in a loop until 18:15 we had to give up. I was informed that the owner would pursue this as soon as he gets in at 7:45am today. I messaged him at 8:00 and was informed that he can only call at 9am as the "BIG GUNS" are not in until then and it is pointless calling the helpdesk as they will not be able to help.

They clearly knew the gravity of the situation as I explained clearly. I also explained that my partner is leaving Johannesburg is leaving at 10am today and nothing has happened and the phone is still not registered on the network even though I have been paying for the phone and contract for the last 6 days. She was unable to set up the phone for him and he is unable to drive to a Vodashop to finish setting up his phone.

I have lost faith in Vodacom. I judge businesses not by when things are going well but when you need help and do not get it no matter how urgent or important the matter is
