Absolutely Terrible Service @ Vodacom on Kloof Street

So took out a cell contract at Vodacom on Kloof street. 5 months later realised I has some issues with my Iphone 6s, apps couldn't delete when holding on the icons as per normal, never got 4G ever and the phone froze randomly and had to be reset.

Went in to Vodacom on the 5 January 2017 to get it fixed/replaced as it was still under the 1 year warranty. Willem was my service consultant I told him what was wrong and signed all the necessary paper work. He explained that it would take 7 - 21 days for my phone to be repaired. Not having a phone that could take my microsim I gave him a temporary number.

14 laters after not hearing anything from them I called and he said my phone was in JHB at the repair center. Later I recieved SMS confirmation that my phone was in JHB. After 19 days I again hadn't received any word from them so I called again (close to 5 in the afternoon about an hour before store close). This time I got told that my Turn My Iphone locator had to be turned off before the phone would have to be sent back to JHB for repairs. Wondering why it took them 19 days to inform me to do this?? He later admitted that he didn't know he was supposed to give me this information. Upon chatting to the store manager Shireen she explained that cell repair technicians did not communicate this with the store. Calling the cell repair centre they said that they speciafically tell stores to inform there customers of this.

Questioning the store manager about this poor service she gave me excuses about the repair centre and admitted to not telling me that I was supposed to turn my Iphone locater off. Also noting that she took from the 5 - 11 January for her to book the phone in to the repairs. Her excuse was that her system was down.

Feeling a bit hard done by I asked if there was any form of compensation she could offer. She then offered me a temporary phone, which it should be noted when I made this query when handing the phone in I was told it was against store policy. Telling her I didn't want a temporary phone (as I already had a replacement) she told me she could offer me the phone value my installment for the month of January 2017. Telling her I wasn't happy with the service and that I wanted to take it head office, she then responded by saying that then she would get fired and she already didn't earn a lot of money. She couldn't however tell me when my phone would be back.

Then Friday the 27 January after I cooled down I went in to the store instead of calling to see if we could come to some sort of agreement. I was then told that it was actually 7 - 21 working days and that the time period for repairs had actually not expired yet. Asking to see the policy where it stated this she brought for the warranty document, which in no place stated any thing about 7 - 21 days. For compensation she offered me another temporary phone which I declined and asked for the money value installment of the phone which she then declined. Stating that it would have to paid her and Willem and they already didn't earn a lot of money. So I was left wondering why she made the offer in the first place...

I then left the store after a little argument with her about the poor service. Later I received another SMS saying my phone was in JHB for repairs again. Is the service all Vodacom customers get when taking there phone in for repairs?

I am an Engineer for the City of Cape Town and require this phone to liaise with community, contractors and to perform daily work functions. Also using this temporart number I cannot recieve my one time payment passwords and is becoming a real inconvenience. Please Help.....
