Absolutely shocking

I have tried 4 times to cancel my contract which expired over 5 months ago. The first 2 times the line - Vodacom to Vodacom was dropped, the third time the agent insisted that they needed to know whether I own any houses to be able to continue to cancel my phone contract !!! what this has to do with my cell phone contract and what business is it of Vadacoms is beyond me., when I asked to be escalated to a manager, my details were taken and then the line was cut off, not a dropped call. Fourth attempt the agent just put down the phone.

In my opinion this is destrtuctive delaying tactics to stop the cancellation of the contract. i have been with Vodacom for 20 years but as their network and service gets continuously poorer I cannot stand it any more. Now they try and make it impossible to cancel - there has to be a better way to do business Vodacom????
