ABSOLUTELY RUDE AND NO CUSTOMER SERVICE S****S!!!

I visited Vodacom Nelson Mandela Square on the 1st of May 2017 only to be received by disgusting service which could borderline an issue that is very sensitive in our country right now!

My husband and I waited patiently in line for a consultant to assist when we were approached by whom I am lead to believe is the branch manager/ team leader. This was the only positive encounter experienced in this store and the only staff member we interacted with that had customer service s****s! We were greeted and asked how we could be assisted. A minute later a consultant came to assist us. There was no greeting or making your customer feel sort of welcomed in the store by this consultant at all. It was straight to business of which could not be completed due to the store not being able to assist as the cancellation i needed to have done had to be done telephonically. So what is the purpose of having the option to go into a store at my convenience just to be told what I want to do i have to call a callcentre of which I will sit for an average of 30 mins on a call just to give a notice of cancellation, A TOTAL WASTE OF TIME!!! once i had expressed my dissatisfaction to the consultant of how utterly stupid this notion is and after me repeating my self 3 times asking for the call centre number, i was told , an mind you looked down on, literally, as i was sitting down and she was standing, " do I want her to assist me or not?" As if it was my problem that this major coperate that she works for and gets a salary from has now inconvenienced me as customer of 8 years!!!!! she then RUDELY walks away and says o someone else will assist you. After I had left the store and came back in as my husbabnd was still expressing the concern i had to the team leader and also expressing the view that it is rude to talk about someones especially a customer in another langauge than the business language of English, this RUDE consultant had the nerve to tell me I must not damn speak to her in that tone!!!

I have worked in the retail service related industry for almost 10 years myslef. I also know that customer service is the number 1 issue that can resolve so many disputes. I would think that customer service s****s would be an absolute need and necessary as Vodacom is in no way a small company. I would think that you would expect your staff to learn and have a know how of how to deal with customers.

It is not my problem that she had to work on a public holiday because she gets paid to do her job!

your staff is in no way capable of being ambassadors for Vodacom and will the downfall of Vodacom becuase they have no s****s towards customers!!!!!!!
