ABSOLUTE *******!!!

Vodacom forced me to upgrade in December 2022. After much back forth they said I would received more data and airtime and be saving over R300 a month. Very reluctantly I agreed, after all it was supposed to be a saving and more bang for my money. First debit order in February 2023 they deduct an extra R128. Firstly I never agreed to this, secondly who is Vodacom that they can just deduct whatever they want from my bank account! I contact them and lodge an investigation as I want what was offered telephonically, go and play the recording and honor it. The agent apologised profusely and said he would drop the monthly installment by a further R30 and give more minutes and data. Lone behold I get an SMS for the March debit order and value has not been corrected at all and on lodging a query, I found out I now have a contract with no data, more minutes but still pay more than what I agreed to telephonically. This is now worse than my old contract, I have actually downgraded. One wastes your precious time phoning, you continuously get told someone from upgrades will contact you. You don't get a reference for any calls made, nothing, just the run-around. I am now tired of this. I am lodging a case of theft with the SAP and filing a complaint with the National Consumer Commission this afternoon. I want the recording to be taken to court so everyone can understand what ***** and ******* Vodacom are. Vodacom has no idea how to do business in an honest manner. I'm so over Vodacom and their dishonest pathetic service. Should never have upgraded with them, I didn't want to but you get pushed into false promises.

I want a copy of the recording of the telephone conversation. I agreed to R690 per month. I distinctly asked the consultant what would be deducted from my bank account and she said R690, not a cent more. No point in sending me a quote that now says R799. I never agreed to R799. Send me proof of where I agreed to R799. I am more than happy to go the National Consumer Commission route. You cannot quote one amount telephonically and deduct another. You are misleading your customers and that is *******.
