Absolute revolting customer service

<p>I will never advise anyone to take out a contract with Vodacom. I've been a Vodacom customer for more than 7 years and then you receive revolting service for being a loyal client. On the 11th of November 2016 I phoned their upgrades department and informed them that instead of doing an upgrade could they perhaps offer me something else as I did not have issues with my current phone and that I would like to keep it. The lady that I spoke to in the upgrades department explained to me that I can get a 2GB data contract for a R109.00 per month and a 100minutes talk time for a R129.00 per month and that she can combine them and do this for both my cellphone contracts I have with Vodacom and that this would take place on the 1st of December 2016. Yesterday morning which was only the 30/11/2016 my cellphone network was cancelled and since then it has not been fixed. I've made numerous calls to Vodacom, I spoke to Thulani in the solutions department, he could not assist me, he said that Upgrades department should sort this out, upgrades department told me its not their problem to sort out after I've spend more than 25 minutes on the phone with them, today again I spoke to numerous people in the different departments, which includes Non-Tula and her Team leader Patricia for over 30 minutes and still no resolution. Yesterday Vodacom did not even make an effort to call me back to resolve my issue. Now I am trying to cancel my contract and I've been holding on the line for past 20 minutes just to get that done. Vodacom is a useless cellphone company.</p>
